Deborah Roe is the Children's Librarian. Unless otherwise noted, all programs take place at the Raymond Library, 840 Main Street. Every Week: Story Time. Friday 10:15 - 11:00 a.m. Story-time with songs and crafts for kids ages 2-5. Drop-in Crafts. Saturday 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. We provide the supplies, you provide the creativity. Ages 4 and up.
SEPTEMBER PROGRAMS Ice Cream Time. Wednesday, Sept. 3rd, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. Make your own ice cream! Ages 4 and up. Back- to-School Storytime. Thursday, Sept. 4th, 6:30 p.m. A fun storytime for the start of school. Ages 4 - 8. Weather Wheel. Monday, Sept. 8th, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Make a weather wheel for home forecasting. Ages 3 and up. Dragon Puppet Craft. Tuesday, Sept. 9th, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. Make a not-so-fierce dragon puppet. Ages 4 - 12. Spanish for Kids. Wednesday, Sept. 10th, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. Have a great time learning a new language. Ages 4 and up. Monthly Birthday Party. Thursday, Sept. 11th, 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. Celebrate birthdays with cupcakes and BINGO. All ages. Doll Party. Monday, Sept. 15th, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Bring your doll and make it a fleece blanket. Ages 3 - 10. Banana Milkshakes! Tuesday, September 16th, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Make a yummy shake. Ages 5 - 12. All About Snakes. Wednesday, September 17th, 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. Learn about snakes and make a craft. Ages 5 and up. Tie Dye and Brownies for Tweens. Thursday, September 18th, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Make a tie-dye shirt to bring home. Grades 4, 5, and 6. Elephant Appreciation Day. Monday, September 22nd, 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Celebrate elephants with a story and craft. Ages 4 and up. Johnny Appleseed Day. Tuesday, September 23rd, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Crafts, treats and an apple hide and seek. Grades K - 3. Playgroup. Wednesday, September 24th, 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Call the library (289-6429) for information. Ages birth - 4. Music and Arts. Thursday, September 25th, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Music, movement and arts for little ones. Ages birth to 5. Evening Hoot. Tuesday, September 30th, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Listen to jokes and funny stories. It's a hoot! Ages 2 - 8.
