WEATHER WARRIORS There are times when mother Nature seems to be working against us! During the past year, parts of New England were buried under 4 feet of snow, an all time record. It was a deadly year for tornadoes from the plains through to Massachusetts. Massive floods struck states along the Mississippi River, parts of Vermont and across the world in Australia. Hurricane Irene brought destruction in August, and storm Alfred brought even more destruction for over a week in October. Connecticut and parts of the eastern seaboard experienced an earthquake. What is going on with our weather? What makes a weather warrior? Join meteorologist Art Horn on Wednesday, February 1, at 7:00 p.m. for a fascinating look at weather. The program is free and open to the public.
